While I was looking through some GREAT student blogs from Hong Kong Academy and Shanghai American School I came across Andrew’s Weebly site. It looks like he is doing an Exhibition right now too and had embedded this fun cartoon about wasting energy from youtube:

Another useful resource that we have set up for you is this Energy Custom Search. We have selected only the best and mot relevant sites for you to search through – aren’t we GREAT…?!?!

World Maths Day is just round the corner! Be sure to spend as much time as possible on Mathletics over the next few days… you should already have a username & password (let me know if not!).

You can also visit the official blog and find information on the event AND find out about the different ambassadors – can you locate OUR very own GWA ambassador? Once you have, maybe send her a comment or two – show our support for the ambassador from our school!

Each week I ask you to give me suggestions of things to post. This week we have had some amazing newspaper articles, an ‘animoto’ photo slideshow from Gabi, some website suggestions and I am looking forward to a lot more suggestions FROM YOU!

I usually ask you to email the document/link to me but now I am going to challenge you to take it a step further and learn how to use ‘html code’ to send me something that I can post directly on the site…:

embedit.in: REALLY useful to embed pretty much anything BUT best for pictures, photos, scanned images

scribd: GREAT to use to embed word documents

1. Animoto: an excellent tool to share photos (a great gift idea!) – and easy to use as well…
